2023 Great Taste Awards
Lebny has done it again, this time winning a Great Taste Award with Zaatar.
Creamy, tangy balls made from strasining goats-milk yoghurt and preserved in Olive Oil.
Traditionaly eaten with Zaatar Thyme Mix and warm pitta bread for breakfast, spread inside a wrap as a snack/lunch and is part of the evening Mezze presented already rolled in Zaatar.

2022 Great Taste Awards
Baharat is the Arab equivalent of Garam Massala, the Indian spice mix and this particular flavourful spice blend mix is very close to what my Mama use to make which is why we named it after her.
This blend of whole Sumac Citrus Berries and Dead Sea Salt crystals is brought to you from the Levant. It adds a zesty touch that heightens the flavours of any dish. Ideal for everyday use from seasoning, pickling, marinating to preserving.
In the Middle East every good kitchen has its own mix of Baharat that is used every day to flavour meals.

On the 2nd of September 2018 we were absolutely thrilled and delighted to receive the Golden Fork Award for London and the South East for our Rashi & Dibis with Sesame Seeds. The award was presented to us by the Guild of Fine Food at the Great Taste Golden Fork Awards, which are considered to be the Oscars of the food industry.
We were amazed when we became one of the 192 3-star Great Taste Award winners out of 12,634 products entered, but could hardly contain ourselves having been chosen to receive one of the 18 Golden Fork Awards for 2018. Entries were judged by over 500 critics, chefs, restaurateurs, retailers and food writers involved across five months of judging at the Guild's premises in Dorset and London, as well as specialist judging venues.
This sesame seed version of Rashi & Dibis is just a natural progression of the original one that was first developed in 2012 and scooped a 3-star award in 2015. For this year's version we've added sesame seeds to give it a great crunch.

The saying goes that quality is more important than quantity, but for Terra Rossa both are high on the agenda as this family-run Arabian food speciality company, now in its 8th year, has just added a further six Guild of Fine Food 2013 Great Taste Awards to its already extensive collection.
This year Terra Rossa's Chilli infused extra virgin olive oil was recognised for its intense, fiery flavour with a Great Taste Two Star Award and is perfect drizzled on pizza, adds a punch to any dip or marinade, or simply dunk and eat with freshly baked crusty bread.
Equally versatile is Terra Rossa's Basil infused extra virgin olive oil, which received its 4th consecutive Great Taste Award, and was acknowledged for its delicious, fresh herby flavour. Basil oil will not only add a zing to any sauce, new potatoes, meat or vegetable dish, but turns a plain salad into something delectable to the taste buds.
Terra Rossa is also renowned for its authentic Middle Eastern herbs and sauces and both its Herby Zaatar, which is a blend of fragrant thyme, zesty sumac and the nutty texture of Sesame seeds and its Sumac which is made from a red berry with a lemony flavour, scooped Great Taste Awards.
Made from abundant ripe Middle Eastern olives and rich passata, Terra Rossa's Olive and Tomato relish is deserving of its Great Taste One Star Award with its outstanding recipe created with tomatoes, garlic, shallots and infused with Zaatar. The rich juicy ingredients with natural sweetness from tomatoes and a hint of pomegranate and date molasses give this sauce a unique, mouth-watering taste which complements pasta, couscous, fish, chicken and numerous European dishes too.
Finally - another Great Taste One Star Award went to a favourite family recipe of Terra Rossa's, Baba's Rashi and Dibis - a gorgeous sweet spread made from Tahini Sesame paste, date molasses and spices. Award Winning Middle Eastern Flavours
Anyone passionate about delicious food that has a reliable seal of approval based on great taste should look no further than Terra Rossa, which has just scooped another six Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food for 2012-2013.
Terra Rossa is by no means new to the Great Taste and International Awards, having received numerous accolades over the past 7 years and this year is no exception.
Terra Rossa, a family run business that was established seven years ago, is passionate about its products and is the sole importer and distributor of some of the world's finest ultra-premium extra virgin olive oils from Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon. Terra Rossa also introduces a host of authentic Arabic food products to UK palates from herbs to sweets and mouth-watering Anglo-Arabian sauces and dips.
Zesty Sumac
Made from roasted red berries which have an intense lemony flavour, it is an essential ingredient in Arabic cooking and has received a much coveted Two Star Great Taste Award. Zesty Sumac is the Middle Eastern equivalent of sweet and sour and adds a citrusy flavour to everything from Kebabs, Salads and even ice cream.

Manna from Heaven
A special sweet made from the resin of trees which grow only in the north of Iraq and date back to Biblical times.
Manna from Heaven is usually mixed with pistachios, almonds and cardamom and is the perfect accompaniment to a good cup of coffee. Presented in a hand-made Jordanian bag with traditional cloth, it makes an ideal gift for someone with a sweet tooth.
Herby Zaatar
The most popular and versatile herb mix of the Levant, is a delicious mix of fragrant Thyme, the award winning Zesty Sumac and the nutty texture of sesame seeds.
Although traditionally eaten by dunking a piece of bread into the oil and then into the Zaatar, its culinary uses by no means stops there and is indeed one of the main ingredients in making the ubiquitous Manaqeesh - Arabic bread topped with olive oil and zaatar - Arabic pizza.
Finally three of Terra Rossa's finest infused extra virgin olive oils, Chilli, Basil and Garlic also received Great Taste Awards - with the Basil oil receiving its third consecutive Award.
These oils are made from Terra Rossa's first cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and are lovingly infused with a minimum of 250g of fresh hand-picked herbs per litre which makes them beautifully fragrant and flavoursome and yet subtle enough to use without overpowering any dish. 1. Zaatar Oat Bites
Terra Rossa's Zaatar Oat Bites are savoury biscuits made from the best oats and
cheese in Scotland, the finest Gold Great Taste Award-Winning First Cold Pressed
extra virgin olive oil and Zaatar thyme mix from Jordan. They provide the perfect

yet another 3 Gold Great Taste Awards
Terra Rossa, producers of the award-winning Zait & Zaatar (Arabic for olive oil and thyme mix) range of products from Jordan, are absolutely thrilled to announce that they have won yet another three prestigious Gold Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food of Retailers.
Each year, almost 4,500 foods are blind-tasted by up to three separate teams of experts before the awards are made. Since May of this year, there's been nearly two weeks of tasting by over 400 independent judges and up to three separate teams of experts, resulting in 530 Great Taste Awards given out for excellence in taste, texture and flavour.

1. Zaatar Oat and Cheese Bites - 2 stars GTA:
Terra Rossa's Zaatar Oat Bites are savoury biscuits made from the best oats and cheese in Scotland and the finest award-winning first cold pressed Evoo extra virgin olive oil and Zaatar herb mix from Jordan. The Zaatar Oat Bites are hand baked for extra care and prepared in small mixes in a slow fashion to allow the different flavours of Zaatar which are primarily thyme, sesame seeds and sumac, to soak in and blend with the oats, cheese and olive oil.

For the oil to have that intense lemony flavour and aroma, at least 250gms of lemons are used to produce a litre of the infused oil.
The lemon oil is great for dipping with Terra Rossa's Zaatar thyme mix, for drizzling over fresh green salad and vegetables, for marinating with fish and chicken, or for simply brushing on when grilling or barbequing for that incredible flavour. Terra Rossa's first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil (Evoo) is made from half-green hand-picked olives that are crushed with traditional granite stone. Using half-green half-black olives, quantity is sacrificed for quality, resulting in an olive oil that has higher quality nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants.
The olives are milled within 10 hours of being hand-picked, and the oil is extracted using natural cold processes in order to preserve the sensitive aromatic properties and polyphenols.
This oil is an excellent all rounder, be it for dipping with hunks of freshly baked bread, or drizzling over houmous, halloumi cheese and Greek yoghurt, or as a marinade to allow the exquisite flavour of the oil to dominate the dish.

Zait & Zaatar Wins 2006 Superior Taste Award
Terra Rossa, producers of Zait & Zaatar (Arabic for olive oil and thyme) are proud to announce that its Sinolea cold-drip extracted extra virgin olive oil and Zaatar thyme mix has received the prestigious Superior Taste Award 2006 with 2 Stars, reflecting a global sensory analysis score which includes taste, texture, aroma and visual appeal of more than 80%!
The Superior Taste Award is organized by the Brussels based International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) who is dedicated to identifying and rewarding superior tasting food and beverages.
